Students in the HIST 1411 were tasked with interviewing faculty or staff members from their major departments. The purpose of this exercise was two-fold. First, this turned students into oral historians, teaching them some of the methods that historians use to capture the past. Second, the record of their efforts provide a location for Ohio Northern University faculty and staff to have their stories heard.
We have fantastic teachers, scholars, and artists. Likewise, the people who provide invaluable service to their departments and students work tirelessly. The faculty not only prepare their students to succeed, but also provide important research and performances that advance our understanding of the world. The staff at ONU keep the lights on, the students fed, and help keep them on track for graduation. In addition, ONU faculty and staff provide outreach to the local community, northwest Ohio, the nation, and beyond.
Their stories deserve to be heard by a larger audience, so click on the links below, and enjoy.
