ONU Polar Bears defeat the MU Purple Raiders, 2005
ONU victory ended MU's 110 game winning streak
Our major project for the class this semester was to create a digital history of one of the memorable wins in Ohio Northern University Polar Bear Football's history. We gathered as much as we could in one semester, including oral interviews from both Polar Bears and Purple Raiders. This will not end with the semester, and we will continue to gather new information as it becomes available. We will have a table set up in Hill Building before, during, and after the Homecoming Parade, so stop in and tell us your story.

Below are videos of the game, with WONB students providing the call, provided by Polar Bear Head Coach Dean Paul.
First Half Second Half
The video above with the WONB announcer's call was created by Grant Gaydos. According to the email he sent, he did this as a fundraising project for Coach Paul. He added: "We sold, and I copied, so many duplicates! I was the Director of Football Operations and Assistant Coach that year after having just graduated the previous Spring ('05). I also wanted to include that the color analyst for the WONB radio broadcast was a high school teammate of mine on the gridiron at Caldwell High School with me, Ryan Davidson. He was an 06 graduate of ONU." Thanks Grant!
