This was the first time HPJ offered this course. Dr. Crawford's goal for the course was to offer students the opportunity to learn techniques that historians are increasingly using to preserve the past. He also hopes that learning the digital skills that make up the course will make students more competitive on the job market. The first iteration of the course went very well. The students worked hard and were a fun bunch to work with. They were a bit surprised that the course was not a traditional lecture format, and was more like working. If you are an employer, and are looking for a good employee, you might check out some of these students. They would do a great job for you!
